Makenna Percival is a strong skater with excellent edges who is relentless on her forecheck and backcheck. Her battle and compete is second to none with a high level of hockey sense and vision. Makenna plays much bigger than her 5’0” frame with an intensity that is rarely matched.

Training Information

Makenna is passionate in all aspects of hockey from training, to development, to game play. Makenna currently plays for the Pacific Steelers (Junior Women’s Hockey League) out of Vancouver, BC. The Steelers practice Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays when not travelling for tournaments or JWHL league weekends. In addition, Makenna has 3 on-ice practices a week through Spectrum Hockey Academy, practicing alongside Midget-aged male players ranging in skills up to the Western Hockey League (WHL).

Makenna enjoys staying in peak physical conditioning through running, cycling, and daily workouts. During the off-season, she likes to attend hockey camps and travel to various showcase events in Canada and the U.S. Outside of hockey, Makenna loves hiking, camping and spending time outdoors with her family.
